Ive got 4 bars and have spent 7 minutes trying to get facebook messages. I log in to facebook through safari and can immediately see I have 2 messages and read them. But not respond. For that you must use the facebook messenger... and watch the loading icon go round and round and round and round and round... Mind you... I can use my iphone as a hotspot, and use my ipad and connect immediately. Great app for hypnotizing people... not for messaging.

HATE IT‼️!!!!!!! They forced me to update it and 30secs later I uninstalled it. Stop trying to make everything like Snapchat. If I wanted one I would go get one. U cant delete messages people know when you opened it. If its not broke dont fix it. Everything dont need an update

Stupid how I HAVE to get this app to see my messages

App works fine but if someone sends me a link I have to click on it 50 times before it seems to open by chance! It keeps bringing up the option to emoji the link!

How come everyone else under the sun has the option to add to their day in messenger except me?? I have the most current update, and I have contacted support numerous times with no reply or help. I know its not my phone or the app because when my daughter logs in on my phone she has the option. Please help me figure this out and resolve this issue!! Thanks!

I have an iPhone but while using messenger my emojis dont show up like they should??‍♀️??‍♀️ thats annoying. Please fix the bug

✍?It has been not letting me go into it since yesterday! Why? All I can see on it, is the word "Waiting". Why? What is it waiting for? Yesterday, began with Facebook saying that there is an update needed, so I tapped on it to do its update for me in Facebook. I thought that was all that it was going to do, instead it stayed that I could go and use the Facebook when it was done BUT it also messed around and ruined Messenger on me too‼️? When is it going to be done "Waiting" and let me use it⁉️ This stupid app wont let me talk to my faraway family and friends‼️? ???Please fix it extremely ⏱soon for me❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕? Before yesterday(Saturday) it was working for me, even though that I had to wait a long time looking at a blank screen every time. However, every time that it was done loading up, I could then type away to all of my contacts. Could you please notify me here in your App Store app what has and is still happening and why it wont let me go into it, including an answer to why it is still all blue here now, in the App Store page? Just deleted the app. I dont need a notification every time someone joins messenger or adds me as a friend etc. So annoying.

Pushed on you, then push you to upload your contacts, NO way to block message from people not on your friend list

I really dont get why messaging within FB requires a separate app. This should be part of the FB app.

Messenger is okay. I dont like when every time I befriend someone on Facebook, I get a message from messenger letting me know I can message them; its pointless. Video calls have a beeping noise in background sometimes.

So I cant split screen the Facebook app with messenger on my iPad Pro??. Why not?? Doesnt someone at Facebook know how to code for an iPad?? Im pretty sure you dont lack the resources or the knowledge to code for a fricken iPad.
