GIANT ads in messenger now, seriously? There was enough unnecessary junk in my way but this is way worse than bad features.

Ever since the last update (iPhone 6+ user) its been logging me out of my account and telling me that they removed something from my account that doesnt follow the guidelines and I havent shared anything in weeks! All I do is share things! Not even inappropriate or illegal things like I see other users doing! It keeps telling me that if they keep removing stuff that theyll disable my account! I havent even done anything to you people! This isnt fair! ? I have also posted this on their fb app reviews so that they will do something because I havent done nada!

✍?It has been not letting me go into it since yesterday! Why? All I can see on it, is the word "Waiting". Why? What is it waiting for? Yesterday, began with Facebook saying that there is an update needed, so I tapped on it to do its update for me in Facebook. I thought that was all that it was going to do, instead it stayed that I could go and use the Facebook when it was done BUT it also messed around and ruined Messenger on me too‼️? When is it going to be done "Waiting" and let me use it⁉️ This stupid app wont let me talk to my faraway family and friends‼️? ???Please fix it extremely ⏱soon for me❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕❕? Before yesterday(Saturday) it was working for me, even though that I had to wait a long time looking at a blank screen every time. However, every time that it was done loading up, I could then type away to all of my contacts. Could you please notify me here in your App Store app what has and is still happening and why it wont let me go into it, including an answer to why it is still all blue here now, in the App Store page? However I still have 4 ?s for those of you that are the care takers of this app. 1) Why is the app info square, in this App Store, still all ?blue? 2) Why is the messages from earlier and above my new, (this one), still showing? 3) Doesnt the blue word, "Send" work at all for you and all of your customers, anymore? 4) Are the games free? ?Thank you for ?/?your ⏱?time, attentiveness, efforts, genuine concern for your fans/customers and making this app work again❣️??‍??? ?to all of you. Pointless app, annoying notifications, waste of time

Hello. Sometimes when I try to send a message to someone, the app crashes for no apparent reason

I love messenger. It is generally easy to use and quite simple. One thing I absolutely HATE, as do a lot of other users from what Ive seen, is that the ability to change the text and call tones has been removed. I do not like the default sounds, and in addition, I tend to tune out notification sounds when theyve been the same for too long. Please PLEASE add the option back so that me and all the others who hate the noises can change them.

When I receive a notification bar, at the top of my screen, informing me of a new message, I many times slide that down, to send a quick reply there, rather than fully opening the messenger app. CONSISTENTLY, the app DOESNT SEND THE MESSAGE. Seriously, I have lost count of the number of times when I only realized that my replies were actually never sent HOURS after I typed them.

I want a search option added back to Messenger. When it was on the Facebook App, I could search any message I want to using keywords. Now that it is its own app, I cant do that. Not even on browser can I search for keywords because the browser takes me to the stupid Messenger mobile website, which is just like the app. I just want a search feature.

This app is exactly just that, a dumpster fire. Its overly large for no real reason. They manage to continue making things more and more complicated with every update. They raped and stole elements from SnapChat to try and capitalize on that system. The app spams you constantly and demands you enable notifications, it wants your phone number, constantly reminds you which "features" arent enabled. The app updates basically once a week and the developer NEVER says what its updating and just uses the same corny "were making it better!" description every time. Most ridiculous thing. FaceBook in general doesnt have my phone number and neither does this app. YET, without the app running in the background, people can still call your phone THROUGH the app and it will always go through. Explain that one...

Theres a message request notification that will not go away. Its annoying.

I hate that you cant easily swipe to delete unwanted messages. I hate that messenger is automatically cluttered every time you connect with a new person on Facebook, making it more difficult to easily scroll to actual message conversations. I hate that you had to download a separate app just to continue using personal messages in Facebook.

I dont want this app. Stop making me download it to see when people are messaging me. I should be able to see it from my browser. Honestly, its ridiculous. I hate this app.

I am extremely frustrated. It kicked me off Facebook and wont let me log back in. I know my password and when I try to send a confirmation code, then it literally says confirmation coad failed to send. Its done that for the last week and a half. Extremely annoying.

The app is getting worse, when you try to delete the messages it swipes over To the next page so you are unable to delete annoying messages that you dont want.

It used to be a good app but now my messages wont load it will say I have messages until I open the app and they dont show up.

Guys please fix. I want to switch to an fb account although I am signed up to messenger by phone without an fb account. There is no option to do so. Hope u get this fixed soonest. Thanks!

It disabled my conversations, locked me out of messenger, and demanded that I update the app to continue. Was that really necessary?
