This app is now very Buggy and is not working well, it seems unstable!!! Please make another update quickly!!!!!

I love it on iPod touch because I can download or upload pics, videos and doesnt mess my phone bills with hidden fees!!... And the Calling service is Free!! Great Connection and Love the Quality!!

I used messenger as my primary channel to chat for years but these new changes adding invasive, space hogging, and easy-to-trigger-accidentally "day" crap has made it unusable. Guess Im going to have to try to find a replacement :(

NO STARS! Still HORRIBLE! Now theres a two step process to check Facebook messages and another app on my phone. No Thank you! But if I want to read what my friends have to say in messenger I need the app, no choice. It also texts me things I DONT CARE ABOUT, I tried numerous ways to turn off the notifications! I dont need a text letting me know that someone whats to be my friend, ugh! What a waste of time, Im sure somehow its making money for Facebook.

Bring back normal messenger to chat! Where is my favorites?

Its a great app and great design but I still dont understand why Facebook needs another app just for Facebook messenger. Its really inconvenient...

I would like to see chat heads on iOS version of Messenger too. ? Really useful feature. ? The App is OK. ☺️

The up-date says thank you for using this app but the funny thing is i dont have a choice. If I want to get FB messages from people or send FB messages on my phone Im forced to use this app. It is not user friendly, it constantly tells me to change my preferences to allow notifications that I dont want! Enough PLEASE go back to the way it was and stop taking the extra space on my phone!

I like facebook messenger but i hate the fact that when u add a friend it shows that you connected and i hate that u have to delete each message 1 by 1 is there any way you guys can add a delete all button?

Its always the same, I would like to know what the specific changes are when you update the app. Although its very convenient for the administrators to have a generic description of what has changed, its not really clear to the users.

Funny how Facebook keeps trying to hide their bad reviews with "updates" that provide no clue what was actually updated. Just keep giving us unwanted bloatware that should be part of the core app...

Well the last update kinda sucked on me because for example it would say my friend was "active now" when really she was on 7 hours ago.... so hopefully this update fixed that issue!

This app overall is great. Its good for iPod users. But exactly, why download this app? Like, most people who have Facebook probably have an actual phone. That can message people. The only thing this app can do that messaging apps dont have (atleast I dont think) is group calls. And group texts. This review isnt a complaint, but why if you probably already have a messaging app? I dont understand

Now when you swipe on a conversation you move to the "Active" list. Please bring back the swipe menu. Also, this app is not needed. This app is enormous for just being a messenger app. Put this back in the Facebook app. On the computer I have a single website to keep in touch with friends, on here I need multiple apps. Get rid of the "Shared Days" in the middle of my message list. I dont want to use a Snapchat wannabe. You dont have to copy every feature your competitors have. 128MB app for messaging? This is severely bloated.

The app itself is still an unnecessary split from the main Facebook app. Why is it so big also?

I turned them off intentionally, stop reminding me to turn them back on!
