Why is it that messenger will will update itself or ask to be updated, but yet over and over again, it will crash and reports are sent? Once the first report is sent, it should be fixed so it doesnt happen continuously

Notifications are super inconsistent when appearing on my lock and notifications screen

I love using messenger. Things that I dont want everyone to see, then Im able to send it to the ones I only want to see it.

Is getting worse this fb messenger I cant delete the message requests at All is bug, please add more options: to remove a contact from the list!! I dont have fb anymore and I dont want it to delete this messenger and make it another one for this. How can I put online available? Please add a future to not create group automatically I hate that option. No option to sign out what only if you remove the app from home screen:(! Can make it better for safety with Touch Id to sign in Messenger something like when you unlocked the iPhone and have option password too for some devices with no touch id.. Add a support to sign in & use a pin number for safety Something like fb... After restored my iPhone or different devices when I installed the messenger always I found strangers in my list why I am not adding them:((

It updates every week and take so much memory. Keep on forcing u to get updates. Just annoying tracking app.

Epic fail on this latest update. Completely unusable! Way to go, geniuses!

Current version has a bug where I am unable to open certain articles that people send to me. The article will load, then the screen just goes black and closes Messenger just sending me back to my home screen. Please fix this. Also deducting points because I miss the old days when Messenger was just a part of the Facebook app.

My message wont let me see messages

What ever happened to privacy, this app is getting deleted because this is an invasion of my privacy how they combined messenger calls with my Iphone calls without my consent and I feel like I have no private life anymore and worst part about it is that I couldnt find anything in fb setting to stop those calls from going through my phone and when I tried blocking people through my phone settings the calls would still go through and I said before I throw this phone away I rather just delete the app so they cant run and control my life but thats sad that slowly but surly fb is pushing people away from them for invading their privacy like this on this app and Im going to miss fb now and hopefully if they ever change this I would comeback until then at least I know I could always use whats app since they dont invade my privacy the way fb does now and its sad that we dont have a choice of whos in our friends list and fb messenger is the one in control of whos on my friends list and thats not right I need my privacy the way it used to be. ?

Im having serious issues with the "Active Now" portion of this App. Numerous times, Ive seen that my bf was Active and he says he isnt, that he is on Facebook and that it is just saying hes actively Messenger. Also, he has an Andriod, and apparently Andriods with the messenger app, loads all texts and FB messages on this App. (1) I think Active Now should only be notated if they are in the Messenger App. (2) A phones text messages should be separate from this App, as well. Would you someone please fix these glitches. Its making me CRAZY!

This thing is bogus it hangs up while your on the phone it restarts on its own it yall need to do something better then this

This updated is the worse. Forget about Video chatting, I received a message five hours after it was sent to me. A photo was also the victim of this update. I receive the photo about three hours later. Fix this problems otherwise messenger is not needed.

Easy to use and love the UI. No complaints

It wont even let me open my conversations anymore. It keeps saying "couldnt load conversations". Ever since the update its been acting up.

I mean why have 2 apps... doesnt make sense but whatever. What I really hate is that when you add people to messenger there is no way to get rid of them. I add them to talk about 1 thing and then dont want them on my messenger anymore. I dont want to block them. Just unfriend from messenger. Is that to hard to ask?

No option to delete messages. Fix it.
