Stop saying "thanks for using messenger!" In your updates because since I cant use Facebook on my phone without it saying I need messenger to message people, I dont really have a choice.

I noticed there were a lot if negative comments. It seems to work good for me . I wish I would have had it sooner.But... there needs to be a way to delete a message request when the person that is trying to get hold of you you dont want to associate with. Please fix!

I mean theres nothing extraordinary. It just does what I want it to do and in an effective and efficient way.

I can find some groups that I used in the past but am unable to form a new group (even 2) to send to. If Messenger is supposed to be like using text messages you need to revive the ability to create a group message.

When trying to open links or pics emojis pop up!!

I only downloaded this because Facebook forced me to. Messenger used to be a pain in my side but now I love it more than any other messaging format. I like being able to scroll through my past messages without a new message bringing me right back to the bottom; instead, a gray tab appears, and I can choose to click it or not. Stickers and gifs are extremely fun. Things are easy to share. Its quick. I could go on, but I think you get the picture.

No more detailed reviews from me. Until you put a changelog (the details of whats in the update) youll keep getting 1 star from me. Users deserve to know if youre actually doing anything to improve the app! Please add an option to change notification tone!

My messenger app tells others that Im typing when I am not and this is bothersome

Why split the app? Just to make FB chat more bloated? Mission accomplished.

Wow! My last comment was implemented and Im so happy.. Awesome! Love this app and one my most used and favorite app! Been using this app for 2-3 years now! All other messaging/video apps are like kids in front of FB Messenger.. And the app stopped asking for rating/reviews after every audio/video call. And since you guys stopped asking - now Im writing a good review about this app...:) Best messaging app on App Store!

Stop asking to turn on notifications every time I open the app.! Most annoying app on my phone. No I dont want another messaging app. Put this back.

Updated messenger yesterday and now I cant open any messages. It will not allow me to click on anything within the app. I can see that I have 5 new messages but am unable to open them.

Your updates are worthless its just an excuse to fill up hard drives you already take more space then your worth

While its quite convenient that you can search for people and conversations, it would be a good addition to add the feature of searching for messages by typing in keywords

I love the assessability of messenger for local and international video messaging but what I dont like is that the emojis change to these really weird and ugly pictures that dont look anything like the emoji that is on the keyboard… Facebook please fix this both for messenger and for Facebook!

The fact that they removed messages from their mobile browser site and now force you to have this app is stupid. They are a private company and can do what they want but I wont support them anymore.

I literally will never check my messages on Facebook now because this app takes up way too much space. So thank you, Facebook.
