I have four devices that I use regularly and its frustrating that if I read a message on one, the notification doesnt go away on the others. Also, the interface is pretty bad. In no other messaging app do you type your message on top and search for recipients at the bottom.

I should be able to control when and how I use an app. Either link the sign out features directly to the Facebook app, or restore the logout option. Without that option, the app invades privacy and becomes a security risk, especially as people travel.

The new update has caused my messenger to hardly ever open, it constantly says that the conversations couldnt be found.

App crashes every second since new update, thanks.

I intensely dislike this app. Im weary of notifications I am unable to turn off that benefit Facebook, not me.

Its not even letting me redownload the app after I deleted it a while ago and I tried resetting and restarting

WHAT ARE YOU UPDATING?! Why do I have to use more space on my phone for an app that isnt necessary? Using messenger within the FB app was always sufficient for me and there was no reason to remove it.

Please... Ive deleted this messenger app over and over to switch between my 2 Facebook accounts

Can we get a log out button please??? I have to remove the app eveytime -.- Thats annoying !!!!!

Too many useless stuff this app has. Like Gifs, the More button with its apps, I always press the More button instead of the Send button

I do not want this app on my phone, but because Facebook felt the need to separate messaging into a different app, I have to download it. As a college student I have found that Facebook messaging is a pretty common style of communication, so Ive had to get this app. I do not want a notification that appears constantly as a result of having chosen not to be notified of every message. If the Facebook app can tell me I have a new message, then it can show me the actual message without making me go to a different app.

Facebook glitched and separated my messenger from my phone number and wouldnt let me log back in. Facebooks advice? Delete the app and redownload - only it wont install!!! DISLIKE

Pretty good app for messaging with one major flaw; you cant check your other inbox, the filtered message requests. I volunteer a lot in pet rescue and this community uses Facebook to save thousands of dog and cat lives for death in shelters. However it is imperative for people to have access to this hidden message box so they may see other messages from non-Facebook friends who can help or who are interested in fostering or adoption. These animals lives are very reliant on successful networking and communication, and any fb feature that inhibits communication (without us knowing) puts them for at greater risk for dying. Please update your app, for the animals!!! Thank you. :)

I updated the app, and it uninstalled from my phone. It wont let me reinstall it either. If I click on the cloud to reinstall, it does the little circle loading thing and then goes back to a cloud. Ive restarted my phone, updated my phone, deleted other apps, but nothing works.

How do I un-archive messages!
