Forces invites and tries to spam you to talk to strangers

FB messenger has a big button to invite someone to use messenger while I am talking to them through messenger, its very easy to accidentally bump and the invite is gigantic - taking over the screen, its extremely annoying. Also, on the iPad app (I think on the iPhone app too), it takes over at least half the page with suggested contacts, who the hell are these people and why are they being suggested to me? I dont chat with random strangers and I dont want random strangers to be suggested to me.

Theres too many unnecessary features, the app is too big, its worthless.
