This app makes my life worse

The existence of this as a separate app is inconvenient and frustrating. Please reincorporate messaging into the regular Facebook app.

Facebook already owns WhatsApp, so why is it pushing a WhatsApp ripoff at the cost of reducing the functionality of the main Facebook app? I want to consolidate my messaging over fewer platforms, not spread it out over more, redundant platforms. This app makes my life worse.
