I have not had any trouble or glitches with this application since It has been downloaded. I have not had It kick me out or have anything negative accrue. I am actually glad that they invented Facebook Messenger as an application. There might be a lot of negative reviews but, there are also positive things about the application. At least you are able to properly communicate with family and friends.

The app keeps freezing and not letting go into my messages.

After living in Asia where there are so many messaging services Ive really come to appreciate Messenger more. Thank you for being so easy to use across multiple devices!!!

Freezes if left open in a conversation

Pls fix this app if you are going to make me use it for messages within Facebook. Ive had the error message "cant load conversations" since the last update. I know I have a new message right now but cannot get it Bc this glitch wont recognize the new message. Also the delete function thankfully is there. But it was trial and error finding it. Holding your finger on the conversation to delete it fine, IF you all had notified the general public of this one major change.

Since the last update, messenger wont let me fully delete a message request from non-friends. I cant reopen it either, so Im left with a perpetually unopened message. It will look deleted for a few minutes and then pop up again! VERY aggravating!! ?

I like that you dont have to get Facebook to have Messenger. My mom has Messenger and it works fine. So ya thats my review, I like the app.????????

I cant even open the app sometimes and Id just sit there and tap on the app as it goes on to close out each time. At times the messages send but doesnt get delivered so whoever Im trying to send the messages to, dont get notified. Very annoying.

Stop making new stickers and start focusing on making an app that actually provides something somewhat useful or desirable. The Facebook app used to contain messaging just fine, with no issues. Now Facebook requires some huge app that insists that you have notifications on to pester you every time someone on Facebook feels like doing anything. Its terribly designed. Seems like messages can no longer be deleted (I just want to delete all of them...). The biggest issue is that Facebook wants to force you to do thing and use their apps a certain way, instead of letting the user decide whats best for their life and how they want to use it. It constantly alerts me to turn on notifications which is clearly dont want. It now is demanding everyone in my contacts list. It has its own complicated and pointless image/text broadcast system (Snapchat copy) which is still separate from the same concept in Facebook; which is still separate than the one in IG. None of it serves a point and is just obnoxious. Seriously Facebook, stop with the redundancy! Total waste of space on my phone. And yet they force us all to have it just to read the occasional once a month message. Facebook is the worst.

The messenger app freezes too often and also has a ton of issues with dropping Facebook voice calls even in areas with amazing connection via wifi. otherwise does what its supposed to.

This app runs constantly and drains your battery. Needs to be fixed!

I was about to hit my highest score on 2020 Connect and the stupid game lagged and crashed. ??????

Every time i call someone on video call I cant see the other persons face and I would have to tell them to hang up and call me back and then Ill see their face again its not my wifi connection or phone connection its the app I already tried updating the app and nothing has changed and I literally just deleted the app And re downloaded it so hopefully the problem is solved.

I will probably uninstall. They need to fix this.

Im giving this one star because I really dont want to use this app, but Im finding a need to use Facebook to contact a few individuals for work.
